Emblem Significance:
Star
Our past and our history.
- It is reflective of the United States Army Air Corps from which our organization was born.
- The silver/gray represents the primary color found in the Seal of the Civil Air Patrol and the National Civil Air Patrol Flag, as well as volunteerism to our unit, wing and organization.
Civil Air Patrol Charge
Our present and our missions to America.
- It is the basic emblem of the Civil Air Patrol and is easily identifiable by all.
- Together the red, white, and blue represent patriotism and support of our great nation.
Delta
Our future and our goals.
- It is reflective of the United States Space Force and the evolution of aerospace.
- The silver/gray represents the endeavors we face and the high standards of our members.
Spires
Our direction, onward & upward - "Porro et supra" is Group Three’s motto.
- They are reflective of the Gremlin’s horns from the Minnesota Wing emblem, as well as the vapor trails made by modern aircraft and rockets.
- The white represents the purity of our Cadet Program and the transformation of youth into dynamic Americans and aerospace leaders.
Globe & Aura
Our foundation, a dedication to training and readiness.
- It is reflective of the Gremlin’s helmet and map of Minnesota from the Minnesota Wing emblem.
- Maroon represents a mixture of the brown in the earth and the red in our blood, and the dedication of our members.
- Gold represents the honor and pride of our members.
Color Symbolism
Blue and yellow are the colors of the United States Air Force and represent our relationship with, and support of the branch as their only official auxiliary.
- Ultramarine blue represents the sky, the primary theater of operations.
- Air Force yellow represents the sun and the excellence required of all personnel.
Blazon:
A field Azure bordure Or, in chief a mullet argent (silver) dexter and a delta argent (silver) sinister, two embowed spires Argent (white) dexter and sinister respectant with the Civil Air Patrol logo at center point, and a roundle Murrey bordure Or abased at base point.
