Emblem Significance:
Wyvern
The Wyvern is carried through from the predecessor emblem and represents the members' strength and agility as a unit. It is in the same bronze color and style as before, but more pronounced and the position changed to face into the future.
Civil Air Patrol Charge
The tri-blade propeller representing the CAP organization.
Stars
The configuration of stars represents blending the past with the present.
- Five stars are yellow, representing the five milestones within the Cadet Program.
- Four stars are bronze, representing the four space shuttle missions Colonel Robert Cabana flew as an astronaut, honoring the unit's historic lineage as the Colonel Cabana Cadet Squadron.
- Nine stars in total honor the 934th Airlift Wing, with which the squadron has a long-standing relationship.
Black Sky
Carried through from the predecessor emblem.
Round Tower
The iconic landmark from Historic Fort Snelling and the squadron's namesake.
Notation
The redesigned emblem colors are carried through from the predecessor emblem: Air Force Yellow (Or), Bronze (Tenne), and Black (Sable).
